Tracey Warr writes in the vicinity of art. She has published four award-winning historical novels with Impress Books and a future fiction novella, Meanda, which is set on a watery exoplanet. Her new series of future fiction and workshop books The Water Age will be published in July.
She has published many books and essays on contemporary art including Remote Performances in Nature and Architecture (Routledge, 2015) and The Artist’s Body (Phaidon, 2000). A new book, The Midden, linked to the Frontiers in Retreat art and ecology project, will be published by Garret Publications in June. She was an invited artist in recent projects including Exoplanet Lot, Maison des Arts Georges et Claude Pompidou, Cajarc, France; Frontiers in Retreat, Finland and Spain; Zooetics, Lithuania, Iceland, UK, US; and As Above So Below
